Cluj University Press publishes titles of Romanian and foreign authors, not exclusively limited to the UBB teaching staff. If the book has a scientific content, the author will present the material with two reports recommending publication, papers signed by teachers or scientific researchers having at least the level of Associate Professor or Researcher II.
If the author is in charge with the desktop editing, we recommend minimum standards presented here. |

Is based on the following data:
- Total number of pages
- Circulation
- Page format (A4, B5, and A5)
- Number of b/w pages
- Number of color pages
- Desktop-editing or proofing needed
- Type of interior pattern (or exclusive combination of three technologies):
- Digital color (suitable for color images) - [see model]
- Digital black (suitable for black and white images) - [see model]
- Riso (suitable for graphs, tables or text) - [see model] (for runs greater than 100 copies)
Type cover (foiled cover only for runs over 100 copies)
- Cardboard 300 gr., Full color, matte or shiny foil wrapping - [see model]
-Hard cardboard (cardboard), full color, matte or shiny foil wrapping - [see model]
- Binding Type:
- Paperback with thermal glue (usually in tandem with cardboard cover 300gr.)
- Sewing (usually in tandem with hard cardboard cover) |

| 2. Agreement [download model] |

Based on the offer price accepted by the author, the contract is signed and financial obligations paid as set out therein (advance payment within 15 days of signing and arrears when all the copies are collected by the author).
Payment is in cash to UBB cashier (I C Bratianu St. no. 14th, between 10 a.m.-14 p.m.) or bank transfer (account RO58TREZ21620F335000XXXX open in Treasury Cluj-Napoca, tax code 4305849, indicating the order of payment " Presa Universitară Clujeană contract no ... / ........... , author name - Title of the paper"). A copy of the payment document will be scanned and sent to the email address: editura@editura.ubbcluj.ro.

| 3. Imprimatur |

The manuscript will be submitted only in electronic format:
- .doc for desktop editing/proofing services contracts
- .pdf final version ready for print, not including desktop editing/proofing service contracts.
If the desktop editing/proofing services are not included, the publisher reserves the right to return the .pdf file for correcting file until it meets the minimum specific formatting.
A printed copy of this file will be checked by the author to identify any inconsistencies with the original text.
Graphic composition of the cover will be agreed with our designer.
Acceptance of content and cover accuracy will be certified by signing an imprimatur agreement.

| 4. Execution and delivery circulation |
|

Publisher will be in touch with the author on any problems that may occur in the printing process and will inform as soon as circulation is fully prepared for collecting.
After the arrears, a copy of the payment document will be scanned and sent to the email address: editura @ editura.ubbcluj.ro
