The Outstanding Results of Presa Universitară Clujeană in 2026 CNCS Evaluation

The outstanding results of Cluj University Press in the 2026 CNCS evaluation validate the editorial activity, publication quality, and academic standards that our publishing house has set and maintained for over 33 years within the national and international publishing landscape.   Category A, the highest ranking level, is awarded to landmark publications or publishing houses with outstanding international visibility. Cluj University Press has achieved this prestigious distinction in the following fields:

1. Arhitectură și urbanism
2. Cinematografie și media
3. Filologie
4. Istorie și studii culturale
5. Teatru și arte performative
6. Teologie 

Category B designates high-level publications and publishing houses with a significant impact, particularly at the national level, and was awarded in three fields of the humanities:

1. Arte vizuale
2. Filosofie
3. Muzică

We are particularly pleased that, after more than three decades of activity, Presa Universitară Clujeană covers, through this official accreditation, the entire spectrum of the humanities. This result both honors us and reinforces our responsibility to continue publishing rigorous academic research, contributing to the visibility and circulation of Romanian scholarly books both at home and abroad.
